The International MV: Designed BY Drivers, FOR Drivers
Designed with drivers’ feedback in mind, the International MV series has the features YOU want in a hardworking truck. Intuitive controls, a quieter cab and dozens of other smart features help keep the driver comfortable and in control both on the road, and at the job site. Here are a few of the best things about the new International MV:
Enhancing Safety. The column mounted shifter is easy to reach and operate and is designed to keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. It can also be programmed to limit which gears can be used for manual mode. Controls and switches are configured to be easy to find, reach and operate. There are three mirror options available so you can choose the one that is best for you! Mirrors include heated and power options to help increase your visibility even in challenging elements. In the new MV, the circuit breaker panel is located in the cab on top of the dash to remain protected from the elements – bonus, the space can be used as a desk when closed!
Improving Comfort. The cab design of the MV incorporated extensive feedback from drivers, and it shows! Everything about the interior of this truck is in place to increase driver comfort. There is easier access through wider opening doors, evenly spaced cab steps, and grab handles that help to minimize injuries. The cab width at shoulder height measures 78” making the MV one of the largest cabs on the market – plus over 30” of leg room! The rocker switches have a tactile feel, perfect for gloved hands and all switches and dials are laser etched and back lit to prevent wear and tear. The vent window was removed to reduce wind noises and the speaker was moved to the front door panels – hear less road noise and more of what you want to hear! Storage pockets are now standard on both driver and passenger door and the blue tooth is located on the pillar at a natural height for easier access.
Optimizing Productivity. There is a variety of options for the digital dashboard display: digital speedometer, rear axle load, miles to empty, fuel economy, collision mitigation systems, custom gauge settings, and tire pressure. Drivers can navigate easily between screens to find important information at a glance. There are up to 30 full customizable, user-replaceable switches available for any application. Warning lights can be any of seven colors. And of course, we can’t talk about productivity without mentioning the power behind the Cummins powertrain. Each MV Series comes with the choice of a Cummins B6.7 or Cummins L9. Both engines provide proven, durable, and efficient performance for any application.
