Thompson Partners With Toys For Tots
Thompson Truck & Trailer and Thompson Tire & Retread are partnering with Toys for Tots to hold a toy drive again this year throughout the holiday season. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at any Thompson truck or tire location across Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. All toys will be distributed within the local market in which they were received.
When searching for an organization to partner with, Toys for Tots was a natural choice given its long-standing history, large footprint, and military roots. “Toys for Tots shares many of the same values as the Thompson organization,” Travis Thompson, President and CEO of Thompson Truck & Trailer. “We are a family owned business, so the Toys for Tots message of spreading hope and joy to local families and children in need is a mission we can really stand behind.”
Employees, customers, and community members are encouraged to drop off any new, unopened toys now through December 1, at any of the nine Thompson locations. To help encourage employee engagement, every toy donated by Thompson team members will be one entry for a chance to win an extra day of PTO! Thompson is proud to partner with Toys for Tots and is very grateful for the hard work the organization has been doing since 1947.
